It had no fear, it just stayed right there. It even lifted one leg up as if to show it would stand its ground! I think it’s a fishing spider – looks similar to a wolf spider… my experience with wolf spiders tho is the scurry away very quickly!
Looks like a Dark Fishing Spider to me.
