not sure, its the second one i have found inside my house - first one was in bathroom this one was in living room. keeping him trapped overnight so could get more photo

It’s hard to tell, but it is possibly a female white tail. Just based on the spinaret. They do not always have white tails. Males look like jumping spiders (1-1.5cm), females resemble brown house spiders (2-4cm). The difference is the abdomen, and eyes. In white tails the abdomen and legs are longer and skinnier than the spiders they resemble. The eyes look ugly, the main pair of eyes much smaller and closer together, meaning the top of the head tapers almost like a sawhorse, THAT is the best way to identify them.
