Eriophora ravilla, a Tropical Orbweaver.
Hmmm..I feel ya!! It was tiny tiny juvenile and I haven’t studied Araenidae enough to understand fully what all the Araenidae spiders look like as they progress to a average size specimen.
This species is usually very fuzzy and yellow-orange. It can have lighter-colored dorsal markings and lighter colored anterior fuzz. The femurs (the long section of leg near the body) are bright red with yellow hairs. Overall they look like cute fire balls.
