Greetings. I do not have my own photo of this spider, but I am quite certain that I encountered it while weeding my vegetable garden on the evening of July 10, 2018, in Williamsford (near the city of Owen Sound), Ontario, Canada. I made a perfunctory effort to capture the spider, because I had never seen one like it before, but I did not have any appropriate tools or containers with me, so after a few minutes, the spider went its own way, and I continued pulling weeds.
