No idea what kind. Not a spider person but thought this was a rather large spider for a house spider.

Lycosidae family. A wolf spider. Probably Hogna baltimoriana

That’s the biggest wolf spider I’ve ever seen
The carolina wolf spider which is widespread in US can easily get to a 4 inch legspan.
You can find those in Texas.
About like your fishing spiders. One that may rival that is your brown huntsman and Texas taranula.
