Micrathena gracilis. I didn’t realize that they are in Canada. The ones I’ve seen were in South Carolina, USA. https://bugguide.net/node/view/1996/data The link should bring you to a map of North American sightings submitted to Bugguide.net over the last 20 years. The link can also be used to find more info about the species and see photos. The markings on yours look different than I expect. The sides are usually brownish with little white stripes.
