Comments & ID Thoughts
Hi! 1st time posting. (My knowledge of spiders is limited which will be apparent.) She immediately crawls up from her web & into a corner when she sees me coming, so it’s difficult for me to get a good look underneath her abdomen to make out any distinct markings. I have a video of her feeding & that’s it. I really want to respect her space & not further stress her out. I think she’s nocturnal b/c I’ll go out at night to check on her & she’s sitting in the middle of her beautiful web, so I’m thinking she’s an Aboreal Orb Weaver? Or maybe an Arabesque? I’m hoping she stays awhile or at least until she lays eggs at the end of Oct. I probably have all this wrong! I’d greatly appreciate any corrections & additional info. -Thank you so much!
