Correction: A female Black and Yellow Garden Spider. And quite a pretty one at that nice shot from the photo owner. 🙂

Thank u guys I’m terrified of spiders but she fascinates me I can’t wait to see how many babies kind of makes my skin crawl but going to be cool I don’t know if it’s just in Louisiana but we always called them banana spiders ever since I was a kid

You don’t need to worry about her biting anyone. They are harmless. If they were to bite it would be little worse than a bee sting.
