Huntsman spider. I took this photo in northern Kenya, so that should narrow it down. Perhaps Eusparassus sp.? Location: a cottage with no doors or windows, on the Turwel River in Kangagetei, Kenya. Was extremely fast (maybe even jumped when I tried to poke it to leave?) The bag it's next to is 13 inches (33 cm) across the bottom.

Not certain of species but is a huntsman.

They can be intimidatily large and faster than a hicup, but really cool spiders to have around.
