I came across this spider when exploring an abandoned castle. It was sitting in a bathtub and not moving. I am having difficulty identifying the spider.

I can’t make out much detail but going on the look and the extreme hairiness of the legs – I am fairly sure this is just a house spider in the genus Eratigena. Its a bit dried out which is probably why you didn’t recognize it- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giant_house_spider
