I found this on my patio near my garden in southeast Michigan and it looks like a Hawaiian Garden Spider but how did it get here? I have better picture after I killed it

In Michigan the most likely species for her is Argiope trifasciata. https://bugguide.net/node/view/2015 based on range. Is it dead in this photo? It affects the shape. Her shape looks like Argiope argentata, her leg bands look like Argiope aurantia. We actually don’t have any filed submissions for this genus in Michigan. Canada has many Argiope trifasciata. BugGuide.net has more data over more years than we do, so we use their sightings for USA spider ranges.
Thank you for your response, in this picture it is still alive. The head looks to be a lot larger than the spider you are refering to. We seen these everywhere in Hawaii and I was just wondering how it got here. It looks very close to this one. https://spiderid.com/picture/9076/
