Looks like a Red Backed Jumping Spider to me. Some people keep them as pets!

Thanks Soggy, I reviewed the other pics submitted thus far and I am the furthest north. These spiders are pretty resilient as we get sometimes-50 in the winter. Thanks again.
Believe it or not, this species has been reported as far north as Nunavut. A curious and resilient spider indeed.
