Family Atypidae. Purseweb spider.
I agree with BugmanDan. There is only one genus of this family in Europe …Atypus….with 2 species present in Belgium…. A. affinis and A.picius. They are very similar looking.
I am going to guess that this is a male A affinis because …and I am not totally certain of this bit….A male A.affinis is pale on the bottom part of its legs (tarsus). We don’t have them where I am from (Ireland)
