Thank-you. This is my first post…your response is very much appreciated. Also noticed in my newly acquired book ” Spiders of North America” by Sarah Rose The Elegant Crab Spider, male (page 322-3) as well as great image on https://bugguide.net/node/view/641860. I was using an Iphone 14 with a Shiftcam 75 mm macro lens. In the beginning it is challenging to hold the Iphone perfectly steady.

Welcome to SpiderID! I try to find New Hampshire spiders that haven’t been posted to our site yet for NH. You found a species we didn’t have for New Hampshire, and it’s also one we didn’t have a photo of yet for the entire planet! 🙂 Your photo is excellent! I use a Google Pixel 4 phone, haven’t found a compatible macro lens yet. I carry a pen flashlight with me ( so nerdy!) to use as a little spotlight on bugs to help the camera focus.
