I thiiiiiink this might be Steatoda grandis? I’m not certain because there doesn’t seem to be a lot of images online of it, and not ones in direct sun, but this matches Steatoda grandis closest
Good Job! This species has a very small range, which is what it doesn’t get photographed often. Bugguide.net has had photos submitted from only two US states in 20 years. We have 3 states in about 6 years. https://bugguide.net/adv_search/bgsearch.php?taxon=889023&location%5B%5D=CO
This photo of one in bright sunlight is excellent! Thank you HickoryDickory! The markings look whitish in lower lighting. I checked the online World Spider Catalog, this species isn’t known to live in any other countries, just a few US States.
