Comments & ID Thoughts

I am not a spider expert. But based on the pictures that I have seen on this website, I think it is Argiope Argentata or the Silver Garden Spider. Its web was extremely sticky and super elastic. It's size was approximately 2-1/2 inches or 65mm from toe to toe, so-to-speak. The colors varied and I had never seen a spider with bumps or ridges on it. Hopefully these few pictures will contribute to the spider community.
