I have no idea if this is even a spider. All I can tell is that I came across it in a brnch & it did not like the light.

I read your bio, yay another guerilla gardener! I was just doing that before this. On the property of a religious nonprofit that doesn’t care at all about the environment. My land is adjacent to their mess. They don’t exactly like me. Yes, this weird orange shiny creature is a spider. I’ve found Woodlouse Hunters 3 times and each time is a bit startling.
