This was taken in my "tool shed". It allowed me to get pretty close. I live in the northern part of middle Tennessee about an hour NNE of Nashville. There were some webs around but the spider wasn't in the web. I have some guesses at the type of spider, but they are just guesses.

Sorry, I should have added it was about 3 inches or more from end of leg to end of leg.
I think it is a dark fishing spider…Dolomedes tenebrosus

Cool spiders. Dark fishing spider as Nod suggested. Rather chill, but quick if spooked.
