As BugManDan said, this looks to be a female kukulcania hibernalis, aka the southern house spider. There are a few reasons we can deduce this – the location matches their established range, the color variation between the cephalothorax (head) and abdomen is consistent with females of that species, the eyes seem to be located in a central ‘turret’ near the front of their head, and (for me this is one of the easiest ways to tell when you’re looking at a female southern house spider) the coxa (the joint that connects the legs to the body) are very light in… Read more »
