It’s a Harvestman, which is an Arachnid, but a different order than spiders. It’s in Opiliones, spiders are Aranae. I can’t tell you the ID any more specifically. I saw this species of Harvestmen in South Carolina too. They are larger than East Coast Harvestmen and the underside of the abdomen is brighter white than on most. The biggest difference between these and spiders is that these can chew and have wider digestive tracts. They don’t use fangs and venom and don’t liquify their prey because of the wider digestive tract.
