I think he’s Steatoda grossa, a False Black Widow. I wasn’t sure enough to title it with the species. His legs are a bit pale. He’s not anything to worry about. False Black Widows actually kill Black Widows, Brown Widows, Brown Recluses, Cockroaches, and more. I’ve had people ask me how they can get more of these for home defense. 🙂 Technically, they have some venom for self-defense and swiftly killing prey.
