Spider is an inch long and has a neat web with a line of squiggles in the middle. It was in its web but ran because my dad poured water on the bush not seeing it.

Hi again! This one might have been tricky because she doesn’t look like this species usually does. I don’t know why they vary. They run from moving water because the force of getting hit by it can cause internal injuries. Scientists don’t agree on why they make the extra ( stabilimenta) squiggle webs. I would guess that it’s to hide the spider while she’s resting near the middle. There are more photos below. The spinnerets pivot like a garden sprinkler, spraying silk side to side. Awesome!! Thank you. I wasn’t sure what she was because usually the ones I see are a lot bigger. Maybe she is not full grown yet?
