Comments & ID Thoughts

Based on other pictures & descriptions I've seen on here, my best guess would be it's a trapdoor spider maybe? I found it already dead under my kids slipnslide after I picked it up & moved it so I could mow my yard.

I would second your guess of trapdoor spiders, their abdomens tend to be very telling with their unique shape.
