Some sort of orbweaver or garden spider?
I don’t know spiders, I hate the things. I want someone to identify this for me so I can work around them in peace.

Thank you for asking and keeping the peace with spiders. She’s the scariest-loking spider species that I’ve seen in the wild. My spouse was not pleased to see one almost on his face when we were hiking in the Sumter area. Her venom is not a medically significant risk to humans. The spiders in the US that have venom that is significant are the the Widows and the Recluses. In your photo you can see why she’s called a Golden Silk Orbweaver, her silk is very golden.
