This spider was hitting on my gf from the parking lot of my apartment building, then it smiled at me and wandered away. Not Kool, so I need information on what type of spider I’m dealing with before I attempt to save my manhood from being embarrassed in public from it again.
I’m sorry to tell you that this cutie is a Shamrock orb weaver. Araneus trifolium…so you know they have the luck of the Irish…..the only upside for you is that I don’t know if it’s male or female…the girls have a rounder shape usually..but this time of year after laying eggs they can look like this….if its a male you have some serious competition here….as well as being very handsome they are amazing listeners. Watch your back.
