The shamrock orb weaver is an American species and isn’t found in Europe…i think this is more likely the 4 spot orb weaver…Araneus quadratus

Thanks, they look identical. pl4f, Our guide is Worldwide. That really confused me when I started volunteering here because this site is based in America. The moderator at the time kept having to correct my IDs. To make things even more confusing, many American spiders came from other parts of the world. Your spider is a beauty!
