Comments & ID Thoughts

It ripped a hole in a McDonalds napkin trying to climb away. It bit me 3 days ago in my bed (was found in my bed 3 days later) leaving two puncture marks the size of a pencil eraser (spider itself is no bigger than a dime) and the puncture marks are itchy if touched, extremely swollen/puffy and not getting better despite using polysporin, keeping it covered with a bandaid etc. Other symptoms are a fever, raspy, sore throat, fatigue.

I’ve only had this reaction once, when I was bitten by a brown recluse, but so far, no red streaking. Hoping to get an ID before I decide to go to the hospital or not as it’s not healing and the bites are getting hard and not ceasing at all.

For 98.9% of people, this is a harmless spider. you are one of those very few that react to venom. best suggestion is go to a clinic and have this injury examined.
