They’re an Asian species that was accidentally introduced to Georgia on a truckload of building supplies. I don’t know if it has been scientically determined whether they are a problem yet. They aren’t dangerous to people. There is a mythology about Jorō spiders. Fun Fact: Their name means another word for prostitute. Their mythological selves tie up young male musicians to keep forever.
