I think it is an Eastern Parson spider

You are more than welcome. Spiders are unlikely suspects when it comes to repeated bites.. an individual spider may bite you in bed if you happened to roll over it but they have nothing to gain from seeking you out to bite you. Biting Insects get a blood meal and are the most likely culprits. This is a ground spider. Speedy little hunters. If you do have some insects in your room, this little one could be drawn in to hunt them down…a free pest service.

That leaves mostly fleas and bedbugs. You live in a city that I think has a lot of visitors and college students. And it’s leaf peeper season. Tourism for it is way up this year because people put “Vermont” foliage photos online using filters to make it look extra incredible.
New Hampshire needs new rules or regulations to deal with dangerous jams of tourists. Bedbugs travel with people and bedbugs are spreading. I think there are nontoxic ways to eliminate them. I agree with Nod, your spider is a fast little guy who chases bugs.
