Found in a cardboard box under a bed in the basement. Reverse image search—Triangulate Cobweb spider. Walks fairly slowly.

Yes, they are rather docile, quite harmless. I had one spent her life in my pantry eating bugs.
And yes they walk quite slowly. When they end up in a spot that is risky for them in my house I try to scoot them along to walk faster to get out of the way. It never works. They need to be scooped up with paper to move them.
I don’t usually se them out of their web unless starved or driven out.
even then, easy to just coax onto a hand and put them out of harms way.
