It looks like it is likely a Trichonephila clavata (Jorō spider). Found it by the Chattahoochee river hanging from a tree branch ~35 ft. above the ground. That was after I had walked through and broken one of the two strands of webs it was attached to.
Sorry about the poor quality. I took the picture before I knew that it’s not very dangerous, and now can’t find it.

I will agree this is a Joro spider. Photo is good enough for ID. True they are not dangerous to humans.
