This is a male orb weaver spider….not sure which one. Araneus and Neoscona males tend to look quite different to their female counterparts……if it is quite small…there is a chance it is Eustala anastera…maybe

I’ve seen several in the last 2 years. Eusata spp. are quite tiny. I only noticed them because I was looking for spiders with a big bright flashlight. They point their posteriors straight downward like in the photo. They look strange from the side.because they look folded.
