Comments & ID Thoughts
It looks like some kind of Orbweaver but I can't find it in my books. It seems late for a big spider.

I am fairly sure it is an orb weaver but I can’t tell what it is from that angle..
Orb weavers can be at their largest this time of year just before they lay eggs
..have you looked at the furrow spiders…genus Larinioides?….
The sizes mentioned are for body size only…excluding the legs..

Larinioides – Furrow Spiders. 1 simple ID key for some Larinioides, when present, a V on the prosoma pointing toward the abdomen and a V on the anterior abdomen pointing toward the prosoma… a V pointing to a V as seen here is consistent with some Larinioides.
