I found this spider lodged between the two shutters that close over my windows. Have no idea what it is but I don't commonly see it around here.

This is a false wolf spider Zoropsis spinimana. They are spreading up from the Mediterranean area. They are docile harmless nocturnal hunters. People notice them this time of year as cold weather doesn’t suit them…..so they come inside to find a warm spot to see out the winter.
