I agree, the spiders in a ceiling corner that are really difficult to photograph are usually Cellar Spides in family Pholcidae https://bugguide.net/node/view/9608 They’re totally harmless. When insects get into a house they tend to end up in the ceiling corners. I suspect that’s a reason Cellar Spiders are successful at living with humans.
