Comments & ID Thoughts
Is this a black widow spider? The markings seem wrong.
Found several of these in my garage, between the drywall and concrete floor.

This is a triangulate cobweb spider, one of those synenthropic spiders in many homes.
They are no threat to humans or pets, even good to have around.
Species Steatoda triangulosa – BugGuide.Net
https://bugguide.net/node/view/48950 I think this is Steatoda albomaculata, it has more markings than S. triangulosa. I have Washington and Colorado memorized as states that have extra Steatoda species.
Synanthropic ….with man….and with an “a.” 🙂
Thanks, I will make a note of that
Typo.
My guess is a particularly fat Steatoda grossa
