https://bugguide.net/node/view/1982/data Yes. They are mostly in Southeast USA, but range westward into Texas. There are only 3 spiky Orbweavers species in the US that are like this: Gasteracantha cancriformis, Micrathena sagitatta, and Micrathena gracilis. I over complicted identying them until I realized there are only 3 and to not consider the colorful spiked spiders of other countries.
