What kind of spider is this? Found while cleaning out my garage in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. I’m pretty familiar with most of the spiders in my area but have never seen one like this.

This is a male trapdoor spider a lookin for love…i think its a wafer lid trapdoor spider genus Myrmekiaphila because of that odd shape of the lower front leg…only the males of this genus have that …in your area…some of them are quite dark looking…
.it must be that time if year for them to go dating….a few of them have turned up on the site for id.
