Not exactly sure what kind of spider this is. Google image search seems to say it's a grey bridge spider, but this guy has not made a web or silk. It was found in a lab that's inside of a manufacturing plant.

It is definitely an orb weaver in the genus Larinioides……and probably is a grey bridge spider…. Larinioides sclopetarius….they are at the end of their lives at this time of year and don’t have the energy to do much web building

I totally agree. If she’s still around, she can be kept as a pet if you wish. She doesn’t have much time left. She can drink water from a little dish. I keep stones in my house near my groups of indoor spiders ( free range ) and put drops of water on the stones for them to drink. I caught one climbing up and down flowers in a vase to drink from the water in the vase. 🙂
