Found this spider in northern Madagascar , specifically nosy Komba island , around 350 mt of altitude in the forest . Cannot find any information anywhere in the internet.

It’s a beauty …I can’t identify it beyond its family…..huntsman spider …Sparassidae family….I went looking on inaturalist for you and there was a quite similar spider posted 3 yrs ago that could not be identified beyond family either

This looks more like a crab spider to me. There is a recent discovered white huntsman in Africa though.
Ah ok thank you so much! We’ll look through the sparassidae family then , although most of them do not have any pictures so it’s kinda hard to identify if it’s the right one
We found one that looks quite similar …. Thelcticopis . It’s located in Asia tho so we may be wrong or we made a new discovery hahahaha. What do you think ?
