Hi Trae Beaver. Welcome to spiderid. We are all volunteers here and appreciate the help. I thought this was a barn spider too at first. It really does look like it but they are not found in Arizona. I am not sure what this is but my guess would be a cat faced spider Araneus illaudatus…its not very typical…they usually have pointed shoulders like this one….note the 4 spots on the abdomen… https://bugguide.net/node/view/1451554/bgimage
This one is rounder…https://bugguide.net/node/view/1321883
It’s just a guess though
I am so sorry. When you said barn spider I thought u meant what I call a barn spider…Araneus cavaticus…I only found out today that Neoscona crucifera is also called a barn spider….that is definitely present in Arizona and is a definite possibility …so you were probably right all along https://bugguide.net/node/view/2391987/bgimage
This is a very good picture! If I had to guess, this is a sort of Orb Weaver species. They’re very unique and beautiful spiders
After doing some digging, this is most likely a (Barn Orb Weaver Spider), I hope this helped 🙂
