Found in my cricket tank when I went to go clean it out. I don't think its a recluse based off the abdomen however I have no clue what it could be. Thank you.

It is missing one if it’s legs btw
This is a harmless little crab spider called the cricket thief spider…https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/232476-Thanatus-vulgaris
I think they are native to the US…but I know they turn up in cricket shipments World wide.
They are very committed to living up to their names.

Cool! It appears to be only the third photo we’ve received of one. One photo below was scientifically and professionally identied. Rick West is a top expert on spiders. He kindly donated some of his photos to our gallery for reference.
