Nice photo! I read your bio line, so here’s some fun with biolgy: Because the spider is transparent, the internal fangs are actually visible in this photo. The thinner appendages at the front of the spider are pedipalps (“palps”) that are used for sensory, reproductive, and grasping purposes. Below them are the chelacerae, modified jaws that have muscle attachments. The fangs and the ducts that send venom through the fangs are inside the chelacerae The spider’s eyes are black and are spread around the turret-like red area. Some angle up and some are angled down.
