That’s just beautiful…I am certain however that this isn’t a parson spider. The palps are too large…my guess is that it is a male black laceweaver…Amaurobius ferox

Cool! I’m stuck at home and it’s Winter. I was getting weird ideas about things to do with my Black Lace Weavers, A. ferox, and my UV light microscope, loupes, and UV flashlights. 😉 When I get restless in Spring, I like to take night photos of my yard flowers. A lot of them fluoresce for insects, like airport runway markings. It can be seen with just LED cell phone flash. Daffodils tend to have bright white glowing lines on the petals.
