It seemed to have an abdomen similar to the St Andrews but there was no accompanying web so I'm not sure. Its body was about 10 mm and legs about 15 mm in length. Id never seen the strong shape before but I will scroll through the other spiders on this site. . .The region is a small town of Ocean Grove. . .on the Bellarine Peninsular(old sand dunes) and in situ in a one metre high bush called Tree Everlasting (Ozothamnus ferrugineus.)

@balmaroos Thank you for trying to find the ID using our site. Your photo was our first identified submission of the species – it wasn’t here. Your observations are also helpful info. I give the name of the plant species that arthropods are on when I submit photos too. I photographed plants before I started taking photos of wildlife. Crab Spiders, like yours, don’t hunt with webs.
