Pretty small. I think it's a Neriene digna but its palps (I think) look a little small. Found indoors, ground floor, dorm room.

Yea, Linyphidae, dwarf spiders. I think your species call is good, the small palps could be sub adult or female.

I disagree, the markings don’t match up at all.
I think Cursag3 is right, I even found a picture that lines up almost perfectly.
I’m leaning towards male Neriene digna. The palps get bigger with maturity. I haven’t seen a male Steatoda grossa, please add a link if it looks correct. The body shape is closer to Linyphidae. They’re usually a little bit smaller and quicker than Steatoda. The web is different. Neriene spp tend to have a curved bowl or dome web with very thinspiky strands in another layer. They’re more difficult to photograph because they’ll drop out ot the web if spooked. Steatoda generally ignore people.
