I am thinking Steatoda grossa, maybe not full adult.
It looks like S. borealis to me. https://bugguide.net/node/view/1081559 They appear to be a common Steatoda species in Indiana. I have a lot of them in my city too. They have a pale ventral abdomen. I didn’t look at Ventral photos of S. grossa though. I’ll do that now.
