I believe this to be a male black lace weaver. It's body is about 5/8" long. Found inside my kayak.

Not a bad guess. If you want to see a Black Lace Weaver, they are found in dark crevices like in soil under wooden planks or between stones in stone building foundations. For me, it’s harder to find Eastern Parson Spiders, like yours. They’re tiny and usually zooming around.
I found a larger spider earlier that day that has not been identified yet. It was a very large spider hanging out in this big woven sack with lots of bug carcasses stuck all throughout it and I thought that one was a female black lace weaver. So when we caught this and it had a similar marking on it I just assumed it was the male version of a black lace weaver. Thank you for letting me know what kind of spider this was! Hopefully someone can identify my other spider.
