The spiders have popped up in the basement and on our first floor. We’ve seen about eight of them. Curious what kind of spider this is and what we should do. Thanks.

https://bugguide.net/node/view/3383 It looks like a Long-legged Sac Spider. There are 2 species in the USA, I don’t know which it is. You don’t need to do anything. If you prefer to not have them indoors they can be escorted outdoors with the cup and paper method. They’re harmless. My cat and dog consider them “entertainment.” My young Sac Spiders have emerged recently also. They’re most obvious when they drop down from a ceiling light fixture in front of your face.
