Argiope aurantia
(Black and Yellow Garden Spider)

Argiope aurantia, beautiful big spiders that are harmless to humans and have many common names. My family always called them “writing spiders” because of the zigzag pattern they weave into their webs. I positively adore these spiders and wish I saw them more!
